How would you describe your work?

I try to create feelings and moods with my work. I love to use light as a way of doing this. I appreciate nature and find beauty in all things. Photography, like music, has allowed me to express my passions and feelings to others. I would describe my work as Expressive Photography.

What processes and techniques do you use to create your work?

I always try to keep as much of the original shot as is. I use Adobe Photoshop Elements for PP, however, this is mainly to adjust brightness and levels if required. I use a Panasonic Lumix FZ38. Various filters are used to create color and BW images. The most important technique in photography is what I and many call ” A Good Eye”. You can study the medium all your life, but your artistic perception of life will always shine through. Once you have learned the fundamentals of a cameras function, you must allow yourself to see beauty to capture it.
