Empty Easel Review

  • Google Buzz

Last week we got a nice unbiased review from a new artist resource blog called Empty Easel. They found out about us through Artist Hideout, a site that we had previously posted about here when they took the time to give us a once over.

It was a great review from the perspective of someone using the site for virtually the first time. Dan, the author, did have some concerns which he goes into detail about, but we sent him some information that might clear up some misconceptions, as well as let him know a little about our goals with the site and service. My favorite part of his post is this:

“When you think about it, ImageKind is our company. We are ImageKind. I guess I hope that the owners will realize that fact, and let the community grow accordingly. If they do, I believe the sky’s the limit in what all of us together could achieve.”

This is absolutely true. We not only realize the value of our member artists base, we created this site and service exactly for the artists base, and making it the most useful and rewarding service possible for art sellers and buyers is our paramount goal.

Empty Easel is going to revisit Imagekind as a topic tomorrow, so we are looking forward to seeing if he has some new insights. He also asks for current Members to give him feedback on their experiences with us. Though we are bit late telling you all about it, if you have any comments please let him know!

We’ll also cover any outstanding questions he has after tomorrow in this blog, so check back with us then. And if you didn’t know it, you can always ask us about anything directly; we want to hear from you as well!

That’s right artists. Imagekind is YOUR company. You make the community. You drive the features. Keep the good ideas coming!
