It’s nice to read a corporate blog with a sense of humor.
As artist I feel that the border between reproduction and original art will be blurred more and more by new technologies. This is not only of disadvantage for the artists and the artworld. There is this new camera which is used in museums for documentation purposes, which makes almost 3 dimensional qualities availabe for the viewer. I could see this on last Monet exhibit in Stuttgart. It is really stunning. I have to admit that for a lot of artworks today it doesn`t make much sense to have the original for many good reasons.
I would gues that the theft of van Gogh paintings is probably another case of kidnapping.
