Every now and then, we catch wind of some great stuff Imagekind members are doing around the web and, since we get pretty excited around here, we thought we should share. We can’t possibly keep track of everyone, so if you know something you think we should, let us know! Post a comment below or shoot us an email. One of our stellar artists here at Imagekind, Andrew Gibson from Magical Places Fine Art Photography, recently interviewed another one of our amazing artists, Hannah Summers. In the interview, Hannah offers some great insight into successfully marketing your artwork and gaining the attention it deserves. She also offers interesting info about her personal adventures in photography and art. Hannah even lives in a 500-year-old hermitage originally built for monks in Tuscany, Italy . It’s pretty cool, check it out!

It’s great to read about the interesting things the IK artists are up to… I’m glad you highlighted Andrew Gibson’s work – I think he is one of the most talented contemporary photographers, and whose work I have only just discovered recently.
On my website, I have a page where I highlight the work of some of the IK artists and photographers whom I (in my shamelessly personal opinion) think are doing excellent work in their respective fields. I call it the Raw Talent page: http://www.dezinedesign.com/raw-talent
Totally inexerienced newbie here…I have a question that I’m hoping you can help me with. I have been dabbling in photo manipulation to create digital paintings but always question whether the finished art piece is considered a photo or a painting. I have other websites that I have to categorize my art/photos on and can never quite decide if I have put them in the right category. I’m hoping that this isn’t a stupid question and would like to thank everyone in advance for helping out a newcomer.
Thank you,
Sandra Bauser
