I have been dabbling in photo manipulation to create digital paintings but always question whether the finished art piece is considered a photo or a painting. I have other websites that I have to categorize my art/photos on and can never quite decide if I have put them in the right category. I'm hoping that this isn't a stupid question and would like to thank everyone in advance for helping out a newcomer. I'm glad you highlighted Andrew Gibson's work - I think he is one of the most talented contemporary photographers, and whose work I have only just discovered recently. On my website, I have a page where I highlight the work of some of the IK artists and photographers whom I (in my shamelessly personal opinion) think are doing excellent work in their respective fields.
