Trivia Tuesday: Artist Diego Rivera was Married to which Painter?

Trivia Tuesday is a new feature on the Imagekind blog, which features a weekly trivia question. Some might argue that not all the questions are really trivia, because they lack a solid answer. Thus, they are more like opinion questions, not trivia. Well, that might be true, but because both “trivia” and “Tuesday” start with the same letter, and there is no day of the week that starts with the letter “O”, we’re sticking with the name.

To celebrate the Mexican holiday today, this week we’ll kick it Cinco de Mayo style.

Question: What painter was married to Mexican artist Diego Rivera?

I just made an interactive puzzle about the restored Diego Rivera mural of the history of Mexico. If you have a sec, let me know what you think! Thanks! :)

He was married to Frida but before that he was married to a very talented artist whose work was highly skilled but very traditional. That woman was Angeline Beloff whose story is told in “House on the Bridge: Ten Turbulent Years with Diego Rivera” (on Amazon)
