If you haven’t noticed yet, we recently integrated PayPal into the Imagekind checkout process. This addition gives customers the option to checkout using PayPal or our own standard checkout process. It’s good to know that both options are safe, secure and quite simple.
We added this feature because many online shoppers prefer to consolidate their online shopping purchases through one system and PayPal provides that service. If you haven’t seen it yet, check it out, it’s a great feature update that gives shoppers who love art more ways to buy high end framed art prints.
Also, PayPal makes it simple for international shoppers to quickly and easily shop for artwork online.
Always remember that if you would rather pay over the phone, we are more than happy to help assist you with that too. Feel free to give us a call!
The portrait is one of the most striking forms of art. The ability to successfully represent such a complex subject has always astounded me. The portrait predominantly emphasizes a subject’s face and their expressions but is not limited to simply that. The portrait allows the artist to depict visually, what a person is experiencing in any given situation or moment in time.
“Squidoo is the world’s most popular site for building free, single pages about your passions.”
If you haven’t heard of Squidoo yet, listen up because it could help you increase your art print sales. One of the best ways to understand Squidoo is as DailyCandy advises: “Think Friendster meets Wikipedia.” It is essentially a network of pages (lenses, ala Squidoo) about specific topics that users who love those topics create.
So, how can using Squidoo help you sell? Well, what is it you’re passionate about? Several Imagekind artists have already tapped into this excellent resource. Check these out to get some ideas on how you can utilize Squidoo:
If you have yet to create a lens about your artwork, I would encourage you to check it out and start one. If you have started one, I’d love to see it. Throw a link in the comment section and I’d be happy to take a look.
If you have any questions or further ideas on how to use Squidoo more effectively, share them.
Today, May 16 is Seattle’s annual Starbucks Bike to Work Day. In support of the event, our office will have accumulated nearly 60 miles of bike ridin’ commuter madness by the end of today. It was great fun to get out and enjoy the sun, encourage healthy lifestyles and promote a cleaner alternative for the environment.
Tasha, one of our wonderful Customer Service team members bikes to work nearly everyday, rain or shine (and here, it’s mostly rain, not so much shine). “Biking to work is super!” Says Tasha. “Not only do I park for free, I get to work quicker than when I ride the bus, I get my daily exercise, and I get to stop and take photographs along the way!”
If you are in the Seattle area this weekend, you can see Tasha tearing it up at the New Belgium Urban Assault Ride, complete with bike scavenger hunts, obstacle courses and a huge after party.
This little blog post has pretty much exploded on Digg and I thought I would pass it on. There are some fantastic sites on here that all artists should check out, whether your medium is photography or not.
