Lost Map Poster – Ever Wonder What the LOST Island Actually Looks Like?
Now, admittedly, I am not a big LOST fan. Not that I don’t think I could be, I just didn’t have time to get wrapped up in the show. I am, however, quite the fan of cartography. Maps have always fascinated me. To be able to see from a birds eye view the path your feet take or area surrounding your life is a beautiful thing.
Knowing the landscape of a fictional island is even more amazing. That’s why I love this Geography of LOST map poster by Jonah Adkins.
If you’re a true LOST fan, you can purchase prints of the LOST map poster starting at less that $15 on Imagekind. But, the bigger sizes are the better option to really see all the details.
Jonah explains on the site a bit of background to his creation:
The Geography of LOST: Retrospective is the result of a four year geographic study of the fictious “ISLAND” from the TV show “LOST”
The first edition was created in the spring of 2006, and the final edition was created in the summer of 2010.
This project was created by Jonah M. Adkins, GISP, Virginia, USA
