Art of the Week | HipnoRobo By Mike Creesy
Showcasing one awesome art print each week
Sometimes working in the obscure genre of underground comix, Mike Cressy‘s drawings resemble the work of the great underground cartoonist, Robert Crumb – who was responsible for such legendary work as “Keep on Truckin” and Fritz the Cat. Like Crumb, Cressy distorts reality with his tongue firmly implanted in his cheek. Unlike Crumb, he is a multi-faceted artist who works in several areas including abstract, photography and computer generated art. Here he plays with social commentary of how the human race has become a slave to technology. The drawing is featured in his latest book, “The Book of Doodles”.
