It’s Friday! And with Friday comes my Friday Favorites. This week we celebrate America’s independence. Fireworks, friends, and family are all part of the fun. Get your camera’s ready for the firework shows and be safe!

Happy St. Patrick’s day! Today is the day to celebrate St. Patrick, the patron saint of Ireland.

Captured by Irish raiders he spent 6 years as a prisoner in Ireland.  Upon escaping, he traveled back to his native Wales and entered the Church. Later he would return to Ireland as a Christian missionary to the very peoples who imprisoned him.
