Share and discover your favorite art on Imagekind! With the launch of our new community, we have also implemented some really cool new features. Now you can easily embed your artwork on Imagekind to your site, networking page or blog with just a simple copy and paste action. This new feature also lets you embed your image in the new Imagekind forums!

On every artwork page, under the “share” feature, you can now select to “Clip Image ID.” A box will then appear so you can copy and paste the code where you want! Notice there are two different boxes to copy from, the top is the code for the Imagekind forums. The bottom code allows you to embed your images outside of Imagekind.

As if that’s not exciting enough, we have also launched the ability to select and save your favorite images on Imagekind! This feature is also available from every artwork page. Now, with just a simple click of the mouse, you can add an image to your favorites to view later, whenever you are on Imagekind.

A few more features we’re sure you’ll love!
Today, the first event in the Imagekind Summer Games kicks off, and we are already off to a roaring start! We have received several submissions so far, and the event doesn’t even close until Tuesday, August 12! So, make sure you get yours in to have a chance at winning.
For event number one, we are focusing on Unity.
We are inspired by athletes and people coming together to work for a common goal. So, what do you visualize when you think of unity? Share your favorite image that expresses Unity by clicking the share feature under every image on Imagekind and emailing it to contests@imagekind.com. When you send it, make sure to include a brief description of how the image represents the theme.
If you need more information about the contest such as prizes, submission guidelines, how to enter and voting procedure, visit the Imagekind Summer Games information page.
Good luck!

A few weeks ago, I asked you all to share your favorite images on Imagekind with me. And really, I am impressed by what I have seen. Take a look below to see just some of the amazing artwork people have shared with me.
I have gotten artwork by artists from around the world, of all different artistic mediums, styles, genres and subjects. However, through all the varying differences, one thing remains constant: the amount of skill our artists’ have. And that is what makes Imagekind so great.
Personally, this is what excites me the most; to see how Imagekind is changing the way people think about, experience and shop for artwork.
Now, I hope you go share your favorite artwork with your favorite people, and invite them to participate in this community to buy, sell and create art.

I want to feature your favorite art on the blog.
We recently told you about one of the cool new features we added in our big site change that lets you easily share your favorite art. Now, I want you to share your favorite images with me. Share your art, and it could get featured.

Under every image on the showartwork page (the page that shows the image with comments), we added a new tool. Now, in addition to having the option of adding a comment, emailing the artist and becoming a fan, you can now share the image. When you click the share button, a box will appear that gives you the option to email the image to a friend, or post it to various online social sites.
So, I want to see the art you love.
- Search the site or select one of your own images
- Click the share button
- Select the email option and send it to me, nathan@imagekind.com
- Check the blog and see what others love
Who knows, you might end up seeing the art you love right here on the Imagekind blog.

Sharing your favorite art has now become easy. With just a click of the mouse you can send any Imagekind image to your friends and family. Located on the image detail page (or as we call it the “showartwork page“), there is now a new button that allows you to spread your beloved art far and wide.

A drop down menu will display:

Now you are ready to send the art to the world. You can post to del.icio.us, StumbleUpon, Technorati, Digg, or Reddit, or you can send it in a fully html formatted email to all your friends.

This is one of the cool new additions that we rolled out yesterday and we’re sure it will make a splash.
Ready, Set, Share.
