Current Gallery: light ( piece)
Over a series of exposures I collect enough data to bring about a composite photograph that better imitates how the eye sees. Each specific picture element works in relation to those around it. This is designed to mimic how the eye adjusts constantly to different lighting conditions to bring out as much visual detail as possible. Through reducing the picture to light and color the drama is removed and democratizes the work. The excess baggage of what an image constitutes gets in the way of the sensorial aspect of the work.
